"I blew the motor in my 2016 Ford transit custom, 330k on the clock, Dony Engineering rebuilt the motor with a new clutch and injectors. I have done 11k on the rebuilt motor in the last 8 weeks with absolutely no problems ( already over the 10k warranty or 6 month.) Total cost a little over 6k. The van runs like new. Its now 5 months down the road and I have put 30k on the rebuilt motor and Its still running beautifully. Thanks again Tony"

"I'll start with the positive because I feel that's only fair. Their work is second to none. Got an engine rebuild and cannot fault at all. Impeccable, drives like a new car. Negatives. I specifically asked to be contacted of there was any extras to be carried out, which I was... An extra €700. Which hurt but was required so I accepted that. When I went to pick the car up it turns out the €700 was plus VAT! The initial price I received was vat inclusive so I'd no reason to believe the €700 wasn't. Plus there was another few quid on incidentals that I wasn't aware of. Nearly an extra 200 quid. Was very unhappy with this. Dony and Darius was speaking to me in reception at the time.. passing the buck onto another guy as Darius was on holiday. They wouldn't accept why I was upset and that "was I expecting the work be done for free?" Completely missing my point. Darius got slightly aggressive at one stage which I thought was quite unprofessional. Heel of the hunt, there was no wiggle room and I reluctantly paid the extra, after paying nearly 5 grand. It took the shine of for me as these came recommended as the best in the business, which they are for what they do. Subsequently had to contact Darius about unrelated issues a few times but had to keep resending as I got no response. Which they sorted no issues. Summary is outstanding work. Dreadful communication and dreadful customer service. I'm trying to be fair but that was my experience. They need to improve as a business on those two things."
