"My vulnerable elderly mum went here post -operatively. Staff didn't check her on the first night there and she didn't get to bed until after midnight.. She had low blood pressure post operatively. Very disappointed. While I spoke to the manager he never returned my call. Breakfast was cold. My mum didn't want to complain but for the price per week I just wanted other people to know."

"I had a friend in Kiltipper woods care centre and some of the staff treated him nicely. However, there were some staff who spoke in a degrading manner to the residents. A lot of the residents have dementia and are unable to tell anyone what is going on for them. Comments made when my friend was being changed and couldn't open his legs were "well your well able to open your mouth" absolutely disgraceful way to speak to anyone. I wouldn't put my nearest and dearest friends here. I have no idea how they won nursing home of the year, must be a brown envelope job. I could go on all night but I won't. So if you are putting your loved one in a home please check it out thoroughly."
