"God awful staff especially one women in particular. Incredibly rude to me and my partner. IMPOSSIBLE to get a appointment as the phone systems are so bad also due to the fact they just don’t want to give you one unless the RECEPTIONISTS deem fit. Dr Ellis is a delight to deal with though, very helpful and goes above and beyond for his patients but getting an appointment with him is damn near impossible again due to the poor receptionist staff."

"I never post negative reviews, but this surgery's reception staff and some of the doctors are a joke, if it wasn't for Dr Ellis i doubt the surgery would still be running, as he is the only professional and helpful person there. I'm not a patient here myself, however my partner is. I have never dealt with this surgery until recently, my partner needed an urgent appointment which i attended with him, due to the nature of the appointment and confidentiality i can only go into minor detail, however we dealt with a GP who must have been a trainee who was more focused on recording the poorly done consultation than dealing with the issue, she re-recorded the consult 3 times as she wasn't happy with them, by this point my partner was visibly upset as it took a lot for him to even attend the surgery due to health anxiety. He left unhappy and more anxious than before the appointment as he left with zero advice, no help, and just told to return in a few months if he is no better. Following this i asked to speak to a manager to complain, to be told she wasn't there and to fill a form in, i needed this dealt with urgently. my mother in law ended up calling and getting another appointment with the lovely Dr Ellis that day who was incredibly helpful, kind, and put his mind at ease. From this point i decided i would let the initial issues slide due to it being rectified so quickly. However my partner received his results via text on a Friday evening, which he needed to discuss with a gp, he called them that evening and was advised to call back the following week, we called this week and was told we would need to call Thursday, he gave consent for myself to call, this has now become an emergency as he is now in a lot of pain. I called the surgery on the emergency line and was answered with "whats the emergency!!!" i started by giving my partners details, and was abruptly answered with "if you need an appointment call back on line 2, this is emergencys only" i said "yes this is an emergency my partner is in a lot of pain" again she barked at me "you need to call back on line 2! this is for emergencys that needs to go through to a doctor now!!!" again i tried to explain the issue and she kept talking over me so i cut the call, im not sure who this woman is, what her problem is but she needs to rein it in, her attitude wont get her far, she also needs to learn her place, you dont work for EMAS, your not a 999 call handler, you work at a gp surgery answering phones and probably doing admin work, act like it. I am still yet to get an appointment for my partner who is suffering badly. This surgery is a joke! i would like to state, i know exactly what i am talking about as i work for the NHS in Northampton myself, and i will be writing an official complaint. - I do not recommend this surgery to anyone, unless they switch up their reception staff and employ more doctors with the skills and care of Dr Ellis."

"Bad experience every time when trying to get an appointment, every single time someone is rude with you, waiting in the que on the phone more than 1 hour and after they are telling you to call on another day, don't go there as you will be disappointment on their services. I would not even give them one star."

"Never get an appointment, even worse now they have automated system. Spend 20 minutes ringing for it to say your call can't be connected now everytime and then as soon as you spam redial again a recorded message saying all appointments have been taken phone tomorrow"

"Absolute disgrace. I'm trying to reach my gp for the second month receiving contradictory info from impatient receptionists. The telephone system does not work (cuts you off just after you connect) and when you go there they send you off as you need to arrange the appointment by the phone. It looks you need to die to get to the gp there."
