"Great charity shop. Fantastic garden centre at reasonable prices. The little farm is great entertainment for children. Fodd can be hit & miss for freshness. The big & only real problem is the staff. Myself, my Sister & the kids dined in the cafe as we do on a weekly basis but today I had to remove somebody else's plates & food from the table, wipe down the table & chairs with my own wipes all before we sat down & meanwhile our food was going cold. We had finished eating & were leaving the table when a rude loud man shouted at us "Do you know where to put those trays you left on the table" we thought he was joking as nobody clears their own table there. He then proceeded to show us where the waiting staff recycle the trays. I pointed out that we never had to do this before in the two years we'd been going & pointed out that nobody else had been asked. He said that they were short staff. We emptied all the trays & plates into the bins but there was nowhere to leave the trays & plates so we left them on another table. It seemed pointless asking only us to do this just because they were short staffed. We paid full price for all the food so shouldnt be expected to clean twice."
"What a lovely place. Brought my wee boy here and he loved it. Plenty of animals to see and get up close to. Decent coffee and place to have a bite to eat. We all enjoyed the visit."
"A very welcoming facility in Drumcondra. The cafe is great with a good selection of food on the menu. The animals are fantastic for entertaining young children. They have horses, rabbits and birds... 2 sheep... 2 goats... a few pigs... a turkey.. and a selection of ducks. Well worth a visit especially with young children. This facility has no entry charge... they welcome donations and supporting their garden centre and charity shop and cafe is welcomed."
"Such a calming, well organised and beautiful place to go. Little charity shop, nice ice cream and of course sweet animals and playground. Love bringing the kids here :-)"
