"Great mattress & price however delivery was not as expected. On arrival the delivery drivers were surprised that it had to go upstairs. In my case it had to go up 2 flights of stairs and before they even brought it in they said no way were they going up 2 flights, they would only do 1. They said the mattress would mark the walls & ceiling & there was nothing they could do about that. They ‘tried’ for 2 minutes to get it up the stairs but gave up quickly, left it inside the front door & left. Awful service after paying for delivery & expecting it to be brought to the bedroom. If we had known that going up stairs for delivery was an issue we would have arranged to collect the mattress ourselves & saved on the delivery cost. It took us 20mins but 2 of us got it up both flights of stairs without any damage or marks on the walls & ceilings so I really struggle to understand why the delivery drivers were so dramatic. I would not order from this store again as a result. I did email the store with my complaint prior to leaving this review but got no response."

"I purchased a dining room table 4 chairs, 2 carver chairs, from Hanley Furniture on September 2020 got the delivery just before Christmas as promised, But one of the chairs was broken, went back to the store and told the sales man he asked me to send him a video of the chair , that day I sent it off by email, it went on for weeks with me calling the store and going in but they kept telling us that it was the manufacturers fault,we got the new chair eventually it was different height and back was narrower had to go back again and again after back and forward for 6 months. I had no options but to go to the small claims court, They disputed the claim saying they had no copy of purchase , in court I had all my receipts for proof of purchase and photos of damage, the judge told them send me 6 new chairs with in 7 days in perfect condition and rescheduled the court date for 4 weeks, if I was not happy with them. Of course they sent out chairs all different. Hanley Furniture are just so bad. I went back to the court and to our surprise Hanley Furniture did not turn up I had so much proof the photos don't lie ,the judge ruled in our favour and we got our money back it took nearly 2 years, but it was worth it. Would definitely not recommend Hanley Furniture after sale service is disgraceful."

"If I could give a negative star review I would. No information provided about the furniture at point of sale .they get every quick to take the sale price money but not issue a receipt . For the particular sofa set I ordered I did speak to sales in both naas and Liffey valley and not one person mentioned that the sofa’s were self assembly. Worst customer service"
