"Used to be helpful as a late night pharmacy… But stopped… Tried to go again today to pick up meds for a friend and they just arbitrarily chose to close for an hour without notification…. Update:Tried again Third time this week trying to do pick-up They decided to do closed from 1pm-2pm (despite staff being on-site the whole time) Do not go here if you have any other choice."
"Turned up at 9am, the pharmacist hadn't bothered to turn up. I was in extreme pain with a kidney infection and when they eventually opened they told me there was a national shortage of my antibiotic. Funny since I phoned my GP and was told this wasn't the case. The receptionist even guessed that it was Ashtons that had told me this. I had no problem getting my pills at the very next pharmacy I tried. Very inconvenient as I was in severe pain and really struggled having to go to another pharmacy"
"Don't quite understand how they manage to turn collecting a prescription into such a chore. I switched to this pharmacy 6 months ago, and have managed to collect my prescription without trouble only once in that time. Their advertised 48hr processing time is an obscenely fantastical figure that they are falling woefully short of. I have turned up after 6 days and been told it won't be ready till tomorrow. This pharmacy's only advertised guarantee should be withdrawal symptoms with every repeat prescription! Will be switching back to my previous pharmacy, it's worth the extra walk."
"Really disappointed by what is consistently terrible service at Ashton's. I've just been to pick up some prescription medication which needs to be taken routinely (i.e., today). I (alongside the queue of several other people) waited ages to be seen, only to find not only that they'd lost my prescription, but also that they had no emergency supply of what is in fact a very common contraceptive. I was told to phone 111 instead. It's just unacceptable."
"They’re so bad. Definitely dipping the supply. Usually like five of them standing around doing nothing while people wait in line being ignored instead of checked out. They’ve decided to stop stocking contact solution? Tried calling them three times in a row they pick up and hang up every time first time you could hear them talking first. Hostile customer service. Unfortunately for the last five years they’re the nearest chemist. No one in the neighbourhood can stand them. They’ve left old people outside standing in the cold, outside in line, not even offering them a chair. They’re petty and dazed like seriously they are dipping the supply. Different staff in the last four years always like crack zombies."
