"My Mum fell outside the pharmacy and really damaged her face, nose, eyes, hand, hips. Somebody took her into the pharmacy and got her chair to sit on. The pharmacy rang an ambulance as she is nearly 90 and was very injured. I was informed and immediately went to the pharmacy. After 20 minutes or so, the pharmacist came over and asked if the ambulance was attending today. I informed them that I did not call the ambulance. The pharmacist said that he did !! He said that they were closing at 1pm for lunch and we would therefore have to go outside in the cold and wait for the ambulance there. I have never in my life known somebody in the medical profession show such little compassion towards and elderly very injured lady. Terrible service and behaviour from somebody who should know better."
"Visited Bridgeman's today to get a wound dressing. They didn't have any. They had shelves of inconsequential items, like water balloons and pens, as well as other non essential items. But a dressing for an open wound? No. Somebody needs to look at their priorities."
