"We should have acted on the fact that this place was half empty when everything else had a queue. Food was rubbish. Staff were apologetic about food allergy mistakes they made though. Will wait in the queues for other places in future"
"Visited on a chilly Sunday eve after a hike and was fortunate enough to have a warm seat next to a live fire. Seafood chowder was hearty and flavourful with plenty of fish and my friend enjoyed the sea bass. Service was good. Fairly reasonably priced under €25 with wine/beer."
"Had a very tasty Sunday lunch today, nice old fashioned hotel.lovely, views and cosy open fire.was disappointed when the waitress cleared up too quickly before I was finished, one of my pet hates."
"Fish&Chips is a joke! We got scampi and fish with chips, menu says it comes with tartar sauce which I love. When we received the order no sauce what so ever! Was offered ketchup then, I was told they ran out of tartar or garlic sauce! Fish was too wet, probably frozen, scampi was ok. Couldn’t recommend this place even if you’re starving. If you like nice food avoid this place."
"Lovely old building located on Bray seafront. If the weather is good enough you can sit on their huge outdoor terrace and enjoy the views. Decent menu selection with good drinks and friendly staff."
