"I wanted to write to let you know about what I feel was exceptional service when I visited with my dog Zuri yesterday (17/05). I feel awful that I didn’t catch the vet’s name but the time she gave examining Zuri and chatting through the details of what happened was outstanding. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt that a veterinary service was as good and thorough as that. I understand that individual vets (and I speak of my experience of other practices) are not to blame, although I’m sure there are better vets than others. The time the vet gave yesterday felt valuable so that the bill at the end didn’t feel expensive even though it can’t be denied that £100 is a reasonable amount of money for many people out there. In all honesty, for the treatment and that through consultation, I didn’t feel at all ripped off. Honestly, I hope the vet who saw us is able to mentor other vets because I think they’d gain a lot in terms of her customer service skills. Her communication was clear and understandable but warm and caring at the same time and her positive comment about Zuri looking good for her age even though I see an old dog with bad arthritis, conjunctivitis and after having a suspected stroke it turned a stressful situation into a much more hopeful one, and for someone who is coming terms with their dogs older age, it was just fabulous. Really cannot praise enough. Amazing experience. Thank you. P.s. my dealing with the reception team were shorter but Penny and her colleague are brilliant too."

"We were on holiday in the area and we found a small Tick on the end of our dogs nose (he is treated regularly and kept out of long grass but these things are sneaky). We weren't sure what to do but luckily Penbode was close by and I asked if I could purchase a tick remover from them. But to our surprise a nurse offered to come out and quickly remove the tick for us, even though they were busy. Really helpful and lovely people. Highly recommended."
