"Went for lunch, food was very good but service was s l o w . Quite expensive but not too bad. Beer was well kept. Very cold room so bring a jumper. Plenty of peacocks in the garden but no turtles."
"We just stopped in for a drink and a snack. Lovely coozie environment and friendly very helpful staff. We decided to sit at the bar and chat a bit. Corky little delightful details fill in the interior. Nice international wine and spirits list with a bit of something for all tastes and with nice quality. Great whiskey list and local beers. Very pleasant stop in a cold fall evenning!"
"Food was very good but this time we only had the tap water. Generally speaking we have a glass of wine with our meals but I'm afraid the prices are ridiculous now. Sometimes when you over price you end up losing out which is what happened with ourselves."
"Food was superb; staff very friendly and helpful but oh, the noise! The surfaces in the dining room are hard and there are no curtains. Terrible acustics. Made worse by the four 'braying donkeys' on the next table. We had to go into the car park to hold a conversation. Will not be returning in the near future."
"Nice bar/restaurant. Bit pricey for what it is however this place is dog friendly. The outside seating area is very nice and you can have a little walk around the pond after your meal if you want to."
