"Student accommodation on campus is convenient and for London relatively cheap. En-suite rooms with a shared kitchen with 8 other students. Rooms are not huge but big enough and have a big desk and plentiful storage. If it's your first year as a student at QM, I'd recommend campus accommodation."
"The staff at the reception desk and The Curve were polite and helpful. They gave me documents which show the maps of the campus and the rules of the facility, which was so helpful. The breakfast was nice although it was limited if I compare the breakfast tradition in my country. However it was satisfactory when we consider as hotel or hostel in a different country. It is rather close the transportation stops such as Mile End Tube Station. There are bus stops in front of the campus. But if you fancy walking to popular sightseeings, you need to walk a bit longer. Yet there are plenty of cafes, resturants and shops which are close to it. The problem is that a cleaner who is the part of housekeeping stole my fifty pounds (a banknote) from my suitcase. I didn't report when I was there because I had no evidence about it. I also know that responsibility of valuable thing belongs to customers. It was my fault to leave most of my money at the suitcase which was locked with a padlock. When I returned after very tiring walking on 24th August 2022, I realized that my padlock was attached to another side of the suitcase. I thought that I could have done that by mistake. But when I counted my money, I realized a banknote was stolen. She or he didn't take all the money, she took one of banknotes in the wallet. As I mentioned before it was my fault when I thought it was safer to leave money in order not to take risk carrying lots of cash on me. Please check the CCTV cameras if you have on the hallway in France House. My room number was 39B in France House. I know that nobody can help me to get my money back. But I want to inform you about this unfortunate event. Maybe she / he will have new attempts to steal students' or other guests' valuable things in the future. I was really busy there to explore the city of London and I didn't want to spend my time to investigate the burglary. Because I know that she / he would deny my allagetions. I had no proof to solve that problem. Nonetheless I know that my 50 pounds was stolen on that day. The cleaner hadn't entered my room to clean and take the rubbish out for initial 5 days until she realized that I was a tourist there. I don't know how she managed to unlock my padlock but she did it. She visited my room every single day after first 5 days until I checked on 31st August. It was very interesting too."
"A University residence. Good single rooms with shared kitchen. Clean, although shower head is fixed and needs some contortions to get wet properly. Nice view over river passing through campus. Conveniently close to Mile end underground station. Perfect for place to sleep when on holiday."
"Ideal set up for solo travelers or low maintenance travelers. The dorm rooms are fairly clean (they get a bit stuff on warm days), my room had a private bathroom, and you can use a shared kitchen if you bring your own cookware. The included breakfast offers quite a spread — full English and continental. The price is pretty comparable to Airbnb, but you have the assurance of round-the-clock security. It's near two underground stations, bike docking stations, many supermarkets, and a nice park with a long barge."
"Beautiful place to stay beside the regents canal. Mile end station is just 5 mins walk. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are pretty clean. I stayed in beaumont court, only con was no lift, And I had to climb 3 floors with all the luggage. Rest everything was great, the food at the curve was fine. Breakfast was okay. Would stay here again!!"
