"It was a nice apartment, I gave it 3 stars for the rooms because it is quite noisy. These houses are from 1967 so the walls are thin and also the floors. Someone enters the upstairs apartment and you think he or she is entering your apartment. Difficult also to reach the reception for issues. When we wanted to contact the reception we had to send an email at the end where admittedly we received a reply the next morning."
"Old, run down, noisy and uncomfortable. Other than that location is good. Bedrooms right above 7 air conditioning condenser units! Impossible to sleep at night. At least until they close the restaurant below past midnight. Very different to what you think you book online. Pictures between what they sell and what you get are very different!"
"Stayed from 19 - 25 July, 3 pax (1 couple + 1 friend) Check in: Check in was relatively smooth, though we did have to wait for quite a bit for the room to be ready. By the time we managed to get the room it was about 4pm/4.30pm but our schedule was pretty relaxed so we weren't too bothered. Apartment: Apartment was lovely. We stayed in apartment 4 on the 3rd floor. It was very hot in the apartment but we did come in the middle of the heat wave (40degree summer) but once we opened the windows for ventilation, it was a lot better. One thing to note though was that the living room was definitely hotter than the bedrooms, little to no wind was flowing through the windows there. One bathroom among 3 people was definitely not the most ideal but wasn't a big issue. Though having separate hot/cold taps is not my favourite when trying to get the right temp for a shower. Washer/dryer was a lifesaver especially during the hot weather. Beds were pretty comfy and there was adequate wadrobe space though we didn't really utilise them. Location/Neighbourhood: Location was perfect. There were shops nearby for basic necessities and restaurants down the road if you wanted to eat out. Also for fitness people there were boutique gyms like 1 Rebel down the road and Fitness first as well as Pure Gym around the corner. Very easy walks to various lines with Hammersmith station 5-ish mins walk away which gets you on most lines. The other direction gets you to Goldhawk (?) station which is also like a 10+ min walk. Super convenient, would definitely recommend the apartments to groups/couples/families for your next trip!"
"Beautiful old apartments spread out over a few blocks. Unfortunately the apartment we are staying in is lacking in extra towels and bedding. The bathroom was not clean. The only way to pull the blinds up in the kitchen as well as the dining room is to stand on a chair to be able to grab the cords . With the heat wave we are having there is only 1 floor fan and no AC."
"Black Mould, Mice and Noisy Neighbours. We stayed here for 2 months and the experience was terrible. I kept some clothes in a cupboard and they were ruined with black mould. The staff did not care despite the fact we were paying a small fortune to stay there for 2 months. The flat had mice and the upstairs neighbours woke us up in the night as the flat has no sound insulation. The amenities were very old fashioned and the drainage doesn't function properly. Finally, the cleaners removed by childhood teddy bear when taking the laundry. Not financially impactful, but a sad loss emotionally. I would recommend you stay elsewhere if possible."
