"Rarely post a review. Stayed here for work. Thought I’d book something close to my next location. For £60 I got a good nights sleep, towels were clean and the waiter had great friendly service but there is more to be aware of if you want a nice clean room and good food. Room had old looking carpets, hotel had a funny smell, my bed had “stains” on it from the previous occupant and some hairs inside the bed and came with an added free snack in the form of a small corner of a Dorito. There was no hand wash at all and the shower shampoo dispenser has mould inside it. As mentioned the waiter was great, my desert was ok but my main was not good but I’ll spare the details. Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying here, I hope it was just a bad room as most reviews seem good but I got the impression the whole place would be the same."

"Clean, nice showers but the carpets have seen better days and let the overall feel of the place down; not great for a 4 year old building. The Ryan Air of hotels. We arrived an hour earlier than the 3pm check in and was told that the room was available if we paid a £10 check in fee. We found reception a little unwelcoming and a little frosty. Plenty of parking spaces. Next morning was a busy time for the staff who’s manager was the only one with some energy to make futile attempts to fill the buffet breakfast. Generally undercooked, it was a wait to get the plate filled. Lack of napkins was a poor excuse (batch destroyed by a spillage) as Costa was next door and a perfect opportunity was missed to get some mutual advertising done… lateral thinking fellas! Instead each table had a toilet roll. Staff were handling food and rubbing their hands across their nostrils to remove what I can only assume was the sadness of having to work the breakfast bar… standby a stinking cold for the entire cadre of visitors that morning. Bed was rock hard."

"The best lit car park ever +security lights from the nearby toolstation illuminated our room so we'll we didn't need interior lighting. Downside was yep too bright to sleep, also worth noting is the local council use the top floor for social housing.. Friendly staff tho"

"Bed was hard, but that's a personal choice I suppose. Clean and presentable. Breakfast costs £8.99, ok if you're a big eater. No consessions for light eaters so my husband ate alone. Members of staff very friendly and helpful."
