"What a lovely hotel! The staff here were friendly and very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was cosy, with an eclectic mix of comfortable furnishings and open fires. It was more like staying in a grand country home. Food served was excellent! I was served one of the best meals I've had for a very long time. I would definitely recommend a visit and hope to return at some point in the future."
"We have stayed at Widbrook grange both as hotel guests and had our wedding there as part of the exclusive use. Widbrook grange feels like our home away from home now, I absolutely love it there! "Characterful but comfortable rooms. Our bed and room was large and the bathroom very nicely appointed. Breakfast was fab with really good friendly service given we were a big group and made it complicated. We also ate dinner and it was really good quality. Fine dining so not big portions. Gin bar certainly was good for gin, shame no beer on tap though. Location is easy 20mins walk to town or 10mins to canal path."
"Having recently gotten married here I cannot fault this place as a venue. Over the past year we have visited it several times for meals, afternoon teas and just drinks and on every occasion the team have been superb and the food and drinks outstanding. This was completely replicated on our wedding day too. Claire and her team were exemplary in their execution of our plan and even when Claire unfortunately missed our big day due to illness Amelie and Helen stepped in and seamlessly took over without a hitch. This team of staff here do everything and work more like a family to ensure each and every guest leaves happy. The rooms are large and spacious and the whole hotel is dotted with random elements which makes it quirky and individual, just perfect."
"We stayed here back in March 2020 just before covid really put a stop to everything, and loved every minute of our stay here. Our holiday plans had been cancelled last minute and we had to find somewhere to go for a few days as our kitchen had been ripped out and due to be fitted whilst we were away. We wanted to stay near Bath and ideally the hotel to have a pool, Widbrook Grange ticked the boxes so luckily managed to book a last minute stay. We absolutely loved it, the room was large and cozy, the food delicious, the staff very friendly and attentive, and the pool perfect for a late afternoon swim. The gin bar was amazing and they made us gin and tonics based on our flavour likes and dislikes, which they got spot on! We will definitely be back for a few nights in the near future."
