"I don’t normally post reviews unless it is something I feel strongly about. First a few years ago I pulled my Jack Russell out of this vets because they allowed a student vet to give out the booster vaccine. He pulled the needle from the draw and stab my dog in the middle of her back!!! She screamed and screamed so much so even the receptionists were shocked!! Now my sisters Jack Russell attended the surgery 2 weeks ago because he was limping. They put him on loxicom and said bring him in a week if no better. 5 days later I found a huge tick in his paw. My sister said they didn’t check his paws. Surely the first thing you check when a dog is limping are their paws!! Had to take him to the emergency vets to get the tick removed. I have registered him with my vet. I don’t trust King Richard Veterinarian services at all!!"
"My husband and I moved to Leicester and got our both cats registered in this clinic in February. At first, it seems a good deal, the place is close to home, the price was fair and the vet that made our cat's registration and physical evaluation in our first appointment was very nice, he sounds like someone that understand and care about cats. In these 4 months, we never saw this vet again in the clinic, we experienced a lot of confusion from the vets and receptionists regarding the information of our cat's records: things that were prescribed for one was show up in the other cat's record, and that never stops to happen. That also happened in communications regarding their appointments: they always mix up the information between our cats records/tests or show the wrong date. The staff and the other 2 ladies vet that took care of our cats in the meanwhile are nice and sounds very professional, but we feel cats might not their vet especiality... we did not feel in both of them the same security and assertive we saw in the first vet dealing with a cat. This May the clinic changed its name and its ownership, and the prices rise up but the mess on our cat's records is still there and feeding the lack of trust in the clinic service. Maybe they are good and assertive taking care of dogs, but they have a lot of what to improve regarding cats."
"I recently had to visit to have my elderly cat put to sleep it was a very difficult decision to make and was heartbreaking but I feel the vet and all of the staff were amazing and so compassionate towards both me and my cat I can’t thank them enough. What a wonderful practice this is I would highly recommend this vets to anyone."
"I have taken my pets: dog and two cats to this place even when I lived away from the area because the vets are very friendly and will advise you about your animal. It's interesting to listen sometimes. You will really feel welcome. The price might be a bit higher than you can get in other places but you won't be pushed to purchase anything. The facility is simple and clean with a nice waiting area. There isn't really anything wrong with these people, and hasn't been for 10 years that I am their customer."
