"I've had ADHD assessment with Psymplicity. The assessment itself went great and the doctor was wonderful but the admin part was suboptimal at first: phone connection was bad so I could not understand much what was said to me, prescription was sent by mail and lost for 3 weeks without any updates, no-one was answering to my emails for 3 days when I asked if they resent it, my insurance did not receive any docs and neither did I for 3 weeks. After I left the review they contacted me immediately, they were already working on fixing phone line and prescription delivery and all my problems got resolved in a day, I have received all the documents and confirmations and am super happy with the service now!"
"My initial care from Psymplicity was amazing. The admin team always responded quickly and were able to resolve any issues in a timely manner. I’m unsure if there has been a change in staff but for the past several months there has been a noticeable decline. Psymplicity have refused to respond to DVLA with medical queries and do not respond to my requests for a report to be sent resulting in me being unable to drive for a year which has severely limited my ability to work. Please do not use Psymplicity’s service if you will be required to notify DVLA about any medical condition as Psymplicity will do nothing to help and not care that it is having a very real negative impact on your life. Edit: Psymplicity's response below and further email has unfortunately seemed to solely place blame with myself for not knowing a policy that was never communicated to me by their admin team and with my doctor who I intentionally did not name as I have received nothing but excellent care from him. Disappointing lack of responsibility taken by Psymplicity in this situation. I will be avoiding any future care from them."
"As someone seeking help for PTSD I booked a session a month in advance with one of the Dr's. My session was due to start at 9am, at 8:50am I received a call that this will no longer be happening with no detail or explanation given. Everything was completed my end a month ago and all information was provided as honestly as possible. As someone who is suffering alot and working hard with a circle of safety including home support and my GP, I have been very honest regarding all medication and details requested. I was called a few hours later to be told that the Dr did not wish to work with me and that I need to find someone else to get help. As it states on their website, intrusive thoughts are a very common symptom with people who are suffering with PTSD and this does sadly include myself. I was then told my trauma was not within their ability to help and all the information I had provided made it 'too risky' to work with me, they had then contacted other Doctors and they all decided that I was not someone they wanted to work with and this is just reading off of a sheet of paper and never speaking to myself or learning about my struggles. Now, I strongly believe that when you're unable to help someone, saying so and leading them on to a better path is important, so they can get help that they need. However, no Doctor felt the need to let me know, everyone just told the receptionist what to say and tell me. This made me feel like my details were passed around, as she knew details I wouldn't think a none professional in the medical field should have known. I was also given advice by this receptionist, such as calling the crisis team, which right now as my GP has informed me, is not my only option, as I am working through many mental health problems and everything I am going through is just part of my journey. In conclusion, my information was passed around, even to people that work at reception and are not Doctors, they cancelled on me 10 minutes before my session with no warning, having my information for a month and the communication was cold and made me feel like I was crazy, like I didn't deserve help. Reaching out was hard enough, but their website makes you feel like they know PTSD and understand the symptoms you go through, but this is not the case.I would strongly discourage anyone reaching out for help here and look for other, more professional and trusting places that will make you feel like you're not alone."
"A great service. The admin staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient. Email responses are very quick. Any queries or difficulties I encountered were dealt with quickly and effectively. My clinician, Dr Walsh was outstanding. Incredibly professional, knowledgeable and helpful with a nice personal touch. He really put me at ease and helped me understand my condition as well as treat it with a measured, patient focused medication procedure and protocol. I’m so pleased.:)"
"Amazing standard of care helping my teenage daughter with her mental health struggles - always sensitive and very professional. The administration assistance was particularly good and they were always quick to help us and make things as easy as possible."
