"Horrible hospital , and unprofessional staffs! I’ve been waiting 7 hours just to have gave some my blood for test . After that , nobody visit me again or gave me the result . I waited I total 7 hours from 1.30 am to 8 am . The first doctor told me : you going to be the next one soon , 1hour and half later still nobody called me . I asked about some news regards my turn to an another doctor , He said that If I wasn’t die I could still wait there … after more then 7 hours of waiting hearing that isn’t not really nice .. I left . And this guy(doctor ) was happy about my leaving . Never again here , I would prefer to die in the street instead of coming here again ! Thanks for you “amazing “service , royal free hospital If someone goes to emergency sector there will be a reason ! Check out all your employees please !"
"Waited for less than half an hour in children A&e was seen by the Dr , then in the xray the wait was a bit longer since there were lots of people before us. In general the service has improved a lot since my last visit but the bleach smell is veryyyy strong in the children section which really gave me a headache"
"I was an inpatient here for seven days after having major surgery. I consider myself a very resilient person however my experience at this hospital has left me completely broken. As a patient, particularly when you're so vulnerable, you expect to be treated with kindness, dignity and respect which did not happen. Not only does nobody tell you what is being done to your body and why but consent is ignored. For example, I did not want to receive a bed bath because I was very tired and expressed this to the nurse. She ignored me and started aggressively undressing and washing me. I kept saying no and crying but she kept hurting me and holding me down. It was a humiliating experience. I will also never forget the night another patient was crying and howling in pain and the nurses at the station were laughing and making jokes about her instead of helping. When I raised concerns I was treated like a 'difficult' patient and not taken seriously. On another occasion a doctor came in while I was still half asleep and and told me that I needed an intimate examination and swab and proceeded to lift the covers and examine me without explaining what it was for or obtaining consent. I still don't know why this was carried out or the result of the swabs that were taken. Please avoid this hospital if you can as there seems to be zero accountability for abusive staff. How you are treated seems to depend on whether you're lucky enough to be placed on a ward with kind and caring staff and this simply isn't good enough."
"First of all, I would like to thank all the staff, they showed a lot of professionalism, friendliness, an atmosphere that I can't forget. I had a very pleasant experience. I want to especially thank Natasha and Sara for all the professionalism and time dedicated to me, thanks to them I gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl and I felt so good and safe in their hands. Congratulations to all the hospital staff, you are doing an excellent job"
"Location The hospital is situated by Hampstead Heath in a nice part of town. Services All hospital services are provided here including Accident & Emergency. Parking There are lots of disabled parking spaces at the hospital but even these are not enough during peak periods Monday - Friday. There is also an ordinary car park which offers around 15 spaces and charges £3/hour. If you are traveling to the hospital alone, I strongly suggest using a minicab or public transport unless you can get someone to drop you off. Cleanliness Good cleanliness for an NHS hospital and staff are responsive to reports of situations where attention might be needed. Unfortunately the hospital is not enforcing mask wearing which I think is a risky move and some folks are wearing masks and some folks are not which puts vulnerable patients at risk - lose a star because of this. Shops There is a WH Smith onsite which has 3 self-service tills and a staff member present if needed. Additionally, there is an M&S Food outlet opposite and a small seating area. Lifts Lifts use a new "modern" system where you need to tap the floor you want to go to outside the lift in the lobby area and then the screen tells you which lift to take. E.g. to go to the 6th floor, you tap 6 and then the screen will say "Goto lift D" etc. Note that there are no numbers inside the lift so you cannot change floor when inside."
