Reviews
"We had many sessions of couples therapy and unfortunately it did not work for us and the methodology was not effective."
"Awful. Would not recommend. Sounded very much like counsellor had at least one other person in the room with him, listening in during our last phone session: communicated with someone in the background to check that they could hear directly after calling me/upon me answering the phone. Also hung up on me around 10 minutes before the 50-minute session was due to end… Discontinued counselling with him that same day. Terrible invasion of privacy, gross violation of confidentiality, unethical, unprofessional; and at a basic level, quite simply immature. Whatever happened to unconditional positive regard and duty of care??? Still beggars belief. Had to quickly find another counsellor so as to process the harm done. She talked of countertransference having been going on… Had his dog in the room on 2 separate occasions throughout the phone session, barking in the background! No apology, nothing. And was not even notified in advance that it would be present, so I could at least decide whether or not I still wanted to have the session. Wish no stars could be left, but not possible..."
