"I needed my health insurance urgently today. I've been trying to connect with a customer representative for 24 hours and find out if my policy covers my treatment. Your customer portal is useless at all, as a developer, I must say; you have a system that is built not to work. With this service quality, I think that you provide service only to not provide service."

"Appalled and extremely disappointed with AVIVA’s service. I couldn’t believe that being such a reputable company, they could just not take responsibility of an error made on their part and without providing any options to rectify their mistake, they will straightaway ask you to switch to another provider. My auto renewal was cancelled in error by Aviva when the direct debit information changed. There was no notification to inform me about this and on top of all this, my premium went up after being with them for a year and no claims. I wasn’t offered any support upon enquiring that why has my policy been cancelled and why can’t the auto renewal be reinstated as it was an error on their end but I was just asked to switch to another provider as they can’t help. Going to file an official complaint as extremely inconvenient when one has to go to work and can’t because the company has cancelled the insurance without any notification to or action from the client."
"Aviva is an appalling company. We pay £90 a month House insurance and recently had an accident. The work is shoddy and does not meet fire regulations. Aviva ignore us completely and we are so far about three thousand pounds out of pocket having had to pay privately to have the work redone. We still have pointing falling out of the wall, just rub a finger along and it all falls out. The failure to comply with fire regulations is a disgrace and one wonders how many more houses have been repaired to the same failure to comply to fire safety standards. Even the CEO’s office ignores emails."
"Worst Travel Insurance provider ever! We had major disruptions on our family holiday to Italy, and no matter how extremely expensive and fully covered our £280 premium was, Aviva only awarded us with the basic £25 flight delay, blaming it on the airline. Do not use it!"
