"Went just under 2 weeks ago to get fault checked. Was told to book car in and will have a look and hopefully fix. Booked in 9am as instructed Dropped car off, staff member was smoking while booking in car Was told would be in touch soon as car was looked at Straight forward diagnosis of ball joint and ABS pump so would of expected a call within the hour and work carried out NO call. NO contact Showed up couple hours before closing. Was told ball joint and maybe ABS pump fault. No explanation of why no contact was made. Told work could not be done and couldn't source part Asked to leave car ?????? Front staff was absolutely cluless and obviously had no understanding of what was going on Was then told that there was a 30£ charge for diagnosis, was not mentioned before booking in. No diagnosis in writting Not even a conversation or an explanation of what was wrong Absolutely terrible experience and waste of time. Totally unprofessional and really disappointed."
"My car went in for its MOT today at Halfords and failed. This was due to a tyre that MI Garage fitted being fitted the wrong way round. This is very unsettling knowing that a garage could fit a tyre wrong. Very unsafe and very unhappy/disappointed that this has happened. Costing me extra money to fix and to pass my MOT. Would not recommend."
