"I wouldn’t recommend this business for repair call-outs. I wanted to support a small local business but the £79 call out fee felt unreasonable for what turned out to be a 5 minute call-out 1 minute walk up the road. The fee is not redeemable against future services or installations, otherwise I would have used them for my new washing machine. I felt like a two minute conversation in shop could have told me my washing machine was beyond repair since the display was not working and then I would have been happy to support the business. Edit: I understand the fact of paying for experience but you do not pay a hairdresser £79 for every five minutes in their chair for all of their years of experience and training. A private medical wouldn’t even be so much. Furthermore, having paid a lot of money for this experience, I have every right to publish my negative experience. It is my perspective that the £79 call out fee was unwarranted given my display was not working, which you could have learnt in a brief conversation with me before booking, and therefore there was little hope to reasonably repair the appliance. Better customer service would have been to listen to me and to advise me this, in which case I would have happily purchased a new washing machine and installation through you. Hopefully you can learn that this experience was disappointing for the consumer and also bad for you as a business. Apart from the fact of course you were able to take £79 off me for minimal effort. You didn’t even need to drive or to rearrange your bookings to fit me in. I did not need to pay almost a full day of my wage to be told my washing machine was broken as this is something I was already well aware of."
