I’ve twice taken my car here recently and not only have they went out their way to help me, the service and friendliness is exceptional. I have to add that they have been incredibly helpful in helping me out when stuck in a jam. The workmanship, turnaround and communication has been excellent. Can’t thank the team enough and couldn’t recommend a garage higher. Also, had my MOT done last week, can honestly say they are all great, friendly and really helpful in there. Been in 3 times this year and best experience of a garage yet."

"Used J&H for my mum’s Ford Ka when it had to get an MOT and her usual garage was closed. They advised what work was essential and what was advisory, and were very quick and helpful getting the Ka back on the road. Mum was delighted. So good infact that I was having vibration problems with my TT. They checked the car over, thoroughly balanced the tyres properly and solved the vibration problem, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. After that they did a great job renewing my brakes all round too. They are quick , efficient, professional, and good value! Definitely recommended!!"

"After a breakdown due to a faulty turbo, I arrange for my my car to be recovered to this garage and they could not have been more accommodating. Due to bank holidays and distance, the recovery company couldn’t confirm a specific date or time, but the garage were very supportive. The car was diagnosed with a broken turbo and due to the age and mileage, they advised me to speak with a main dealer as it was only out of warranty as this shouldn’t have been faulty. When the main dealer wouldn’t accept responsibility, they ordered parts and began work. As work began, it transpired that the fault had impacted the whole engine and they asked me to visit to explain. Given this would cost upwards of £10,000 they called and pushed the main dealer to accept responsibility, which they did. Ensuring the car was fixed free of charge. I was only required to pay a relatively small fee to cover a couple of days work. They also pushed the parts company to provide a refund on the parts ordered as they were being difficult, saving us £1,600. This is not the first time I have used this garage and I would encourage anyone looking for good, honest and reliable service to use this garage."

"My car went in with a misdiagnosed problem an ended up being a lot worse than expected. James the owner done all he could for me to get it sorted an try and get me back on the road. Very helpful an accommodating even though they were really busy and we're men down because of covid. Would highly recommend and definitely be taking my car there in future if it needs an work Done on it. Impressive service. And extremely honest and fair. Long story short through no fault of theres my car was goosed but I couldn't have asked for a better service. Thanks guys. Definitely be back if I need any work done. 5* service at what seemed like a very reasonable price."

"First experience and not disappointed at all. The small car that we recently bought was making screeching noises in cold start and was asked to left car overnight. Got a call back in morning that alternator belt needs changed. Price was quoted for supplied and fit which was reasonable. There was no attempt to sell something more or call out other problems which I have seen at places. I asked happy to get a service done if it needs one. Again was told it all looks good and service is not urgently needed. Honest and quick response. I would use there service again and will add update :)."
