"Derick has done an absolutely fantastic job fitting our new kitchen before Christmas this year. We cannot speak highly enough of him and his team, and would not hesitate to recommend him for any work you are considering having done. First of all, Derick has brilliant project management skills. Our kitchen was very complicated (required completely gutting, re-wiring, re-plumbing, new boiler, new heating, new floor, freshly plastered walls, new doorway and skirting, new lighting, decorating, new kitchen island, full appliances, and stone worktops). Derick and his team were able to do so much of the work themselves, and were extremely helpful at coordinating other tradesmen when needed. He had a detailed plan from the offset (including checklists and whiteboard!) and completed the job exactly on time and budget. He also worked very closely with Howdens, which worked brilliantly when we needed to make any last minute changes. Secondly is his workmanship. Derick and Ronald are pure perfectionists, and all of their work was of the highest standard. Everything was done properly with no corners cut, and the finished room looks amazing. Everything was so well thought out, and every item was installed with precision. He kept saying “If it was my house, I would do this…”, which showed how much he cared about doing a great job. Lastly is Derick’s work ethic. Without fail Derick and Ronald would arrive at 8am every day. We live in a second floor flat, and every day our communal staircase was hoovered and left spotless. Derick would often spend time on his weekend visiting builders merchants to collect materials needed for the week ahead. Derick also went above and beyond to help us with other work we were doing in our flat; giving us advice, lending me tools, and helping with odd jobs. He is such a hard worker, he even cleaned our kitchen when it was finished so we could see it gleaming. It was genuinely a pleasure having Derick and Ronald in our flat.
