"As a long term patient, I am impressed by the way it has recently developed. The care and attention given to patients is second to none. As an older patient with an occasional problem, I find the advice given to be thoughtful and well balanced and the subsequent work promptly done. The hygienist, working with the latest biofilm techniques, is superb."

"I have been a patient in this clinic for over 6 years. During this time numerous dentists have left this practise and eventually last one of NHS has left a few month ago. The practise decided to go private and informed me. I was not sure what to do and decided to wait. Today I needed an emergency appointment I was calling 9 times first in the morning but it will go on answer machine saying practise is closed. So have decided to drive there and make an appointment. The staff was very rude to me they pointed out that I am not registered and they won’t help me. They don’t pick up the phone because they were too busy. They offered appointment for me next week with a toothache and swollen face. I found it appalling and not humane. I will not recommend anyone to go there. In the top of what I said above the pricing is questionable and can be change after the treatment. This practise is very dated designed and staff is generally not very helpful."

"Had been a customer for a few years, and was notified that the practice was going private with a new expensive pricing structure, but that I could sign up to a slightly discounted (still exorbitant) monthly fee if I did so by a certain date - the deadline? The following day. Thankfully the practice assured its customers that it would honour any NHS appointments made prior to the new pricing structure being introduced. Unfortunately, I subsequently received an email back-peddling on the promise and that the appointment had been cancelled. Dental practitioners themselves were good for the most part, although the best seem to have rapidly left the business over the course of the past few months; I should have taken this as an early warning sign..."

"Needed a load of work done,extractions/dentures and they have been absolutely fantastic …from the receptionists (who are all lovely) to Jamie Hall the dentist who is very patient and very good. 3 appointments left till I’m done,and I actually look forward to going. Thanks to you all x"

"AVOID! Terrible pricing system and appalling customer service. Anthea slammed the door in my face and told me to wait outside while they had a team meeting – which was an awful first impression! My second impression was how tatty the waiting room was with ripped chairs and dated décor. But to top it off, although I’d been informed on the phone that my hygienist appointment would cost £60 as I had registered as a patient, after my appointment I was told it would instead be £80. Anthea explained their frankly ridiculous pricing system – none of which is stated on their website or was explained by her colleague on the phone when I booked my appointment. Anthea was extremely unhelpful and rude. Although the hygienist appointment itself was great, I’d only recommend Stoke Lane Dentistry if you want an un-transparent pricing system, rude staff and a shock bill at the end of your visit."
