"Great Place for a walk. Plenty to see. Park at the Leigh Arms, it's about a mile walk. Look out for the sunken boat. Picnic benches available."
"Scenic view. A extremely relaxing and seren area to visit for the day or a get away/break . Lots of beautiful wildlife also. I stayed at the Dutton locks in the Shepards hut. I found this property via Airbnb, which is set back from one of the 4 lovely cottages on the private island. I would highly recommend this island/area. It is a beautiful day/short break for people of all ages & tastes."
"Really enjoyed. Lovely loop. Not too far just a steady 5km walk. Wonderful viaduct. Nice bridges. Very scenic. We went early it was quiet. And easy on the footwear as it was dry and good paths and tracks."
"Very interesting and a pleasant walk from Acton Bridge. Be sure to see the old boat wreck "the Chica" and both upper and lower horse bridges with the viaduct beyond"
