Reviews
"Very popular with dog walkers, but wellies are needed in winter, as it becomes very muddy. Playground in lower field near the Aldi carpark."
"When I was very young, I used to walk there (accompanied) from my home to feed the ducks. That's when there was actually a duck pond there, back in the early 1950s. The duck pond used to be about where Sainsbury's Petrol Station is today."
"Good place to take your children or dogs. Or do both at once. Has multiple entrances from the old quarry on Ingestre Road to the entrance off Woodchurch Road. Plenty of space to roam around in an urban setting. At the Duck Pond Lane entrance there is child friendly play area with cushioned flooring and picnic tables. Good place to visit."
"At the moment it's wet and very muddy in parts. There's a particularly churned up bit caused by quad bikes or something similar. Right by the bin where you need to be so lots of time cleaning muddy paws. Still nice to see other dog walkers and will welcome the drier weather so more people can enjoy the open space"
"A good place to walk your dog on or off lead in a safe environment. If you have children there is a kids play area which is very popular. Don't miss the rose gardens either a nice place to walk around or if you need to sit down there are plenty of benches to sit down on.Sainsburys Aldi Home Bargain and a few little cafes within 5 minutes walk from the Oxton Fields.Well worth a visit."
