"Food was excellent and the decor provided a nice atmosphere, however, it was a relatively busy Saturday afternoon (although plenty of seating was still available) which unfortunately led to quite a wait time on service (some people had their bills reduced to compensate for this) To their credit staff were friendly and apologetic but we could tell they were short-staffed for the day which hurt the overall experience. I would advise allowing extra time here in your day to ensure you don't feel rushed as it took us 45-55 minutes to receive our mains (we didn't order starters just drinks) or alternatively, go to one of the other dining options within the Zoo if you want more time to enjoy animal spotting."

"I booked this restaurant to ensure I had somewhere to eat whilst visiting the zoo. After asking staff for directions I eventually found it. It is an amazing looking restaurant. Due to my dietary requirements I opted for the North Sea Haddock and Chips. I don't eat mushy peas and was offered an alternative in the form of garden peas. The fish and chips in my opinion were amazing. One of the best that I've had. Staff were super friendly. Would definitely come here again and highly recommend."
