"We are a gay male couple who got married in June and took our honeymoon in December 2019. We booked through Kuoni at John Lewis oxford street. Our travel advisor Aleatta was very friendly helpful and attentive and maintained contact on the lead up to our holiday and afterwards. She is an asset to the company. The experience and knowledge that the Kuoni staff have is invaluable in deciding where you want to go and when. We decided on visiting Sri Lanka and then Athuruga island Maldives for a total of 15 days for which we have done seperate reviews on trip advisor. A phenomenal experience that we shall never forget. Kuoni required a deposit on booking and then you can pay off the remainder on the lead up to leaving which was helpful for those on a budget. It was so reassuring when in another country to be met by kuoni staff whenever we got off the plane. They had our names and details and directed us to where we needed to go. It’s very well organised. Rebecca kept a check on us throughout our stay and even gave us a little leaving present on the way home. Ensure that you read all the emails or post that Kuoni send you as it has important details and offers... we managed to book our honeymoon preferences (sparkling wine, fruit and flowers on the bed as well as our romantic beach dinner) well in advance of leaving. "Great source of inspiration and very helpful, knowledgeable staff - but if your travel aspirations deviate from their pre-defined packages and high-volume destinations, they begin to struggle. Given their volume of business, I'd have expected that they would be able to negotiate volume discounts (vs booking independently) and pass on a portion of the saving to their customers. In reality, pricing seemed broadly in line with independent booking."
