"We had a week at The Casa Redonda. It turned out to be much bigger than we thought it would be, very spacious for us two. The garden was lovely and enormous. A lovely place to have meals and drinks. It is also very quiet, no barking dogs at night. This is quite often the case we have found in Portugal. We decided to rent a car and it turned out be it a good thing as we have to buy drinking water and the best supermarket - The Apolonia - is about 2 miles away. On site we used the restaurant and the menu suited us very well, great service and a good selection of wines. The bar had a Saturday night bbq with a live band and this was great fun. We had a ride on the well turned out horses and were able to enjoy cantering over the dunes, they will accommodate riders at all levels. There are 3 pools and the best one is a bit of a climb and is in a lovely setting, but is only really for adults. We walked across the salt marsh to the bird watching hide and to the restaurant on the beach at Os Salgados, which did great seafood. If you are into bird watching bring binoculars as there is a lot to see. We also took a bird watching trip in Faro from the old town on a boat trip around the Ria Formosa park. To sum up a very comfortable relaxing week."

"This is honestly the best place we have ever been. We've visited 3 times since 2015 and got married in Portugal in 2017 while staying at The Quinta. If you are looking for a relaxing resort in Albufeira with the benefit of your own private villa then this is the place to be. Watching the horses leave for the beach at sunset is one of the best sights. We always book through Melanie and she takes care of everything so that the villa is ready when we arrive. The owners host a weekly BBQ at the pool bar which is a good way to get to know the other people staying. Renting a car for your stay would definitely be advisable as the Quinta is a 10/15 minute drive from Albufeira old town. There are lots of places to visit nearby also. If you like beaches Galè is our preferred choice. All in all for a relaxing break with, or without children, this is the place which will satisfy all of your needs."

"If you are looking for peace and tranquillity during your holiday Quinta da Saudade is the place to go. Situated just outside Albufeira and Armacao, it is ideally situated for visits for shopping or nightlife. On the estate is an excellent restaurant where the welcome is warm, the food, simply superb. In those too hot days to do anything there are two very good pools on the estate, the upper one, a “quiet” pool, is just the place to cool off, and relax in total peace. The villas are clean, cool, and offer beautiful views over the area of special scientific interest between the estate and the sea. It is only a leisurely walk of 20 minutes to an outstanding and clean, and unspoiled beach. Booking a villa on this estate could not be easier or pleasant, Melanie is efficient, helpful and professional. In summary, Quinta da Saudade is a little piece of heaven on Earth."
