They will then proceed to carry out daylight robbery by coaxing you into a repair with a hefty bill at the end. Compare repair prices first! Some 'Authorised' repair centres are clearly in need of work at any cost, don't let it be from your pocket."

"Excellent Service From Roy , No.1 For Karcher Spares and Advise! I had stripped my Karcher K4 Eco 2012 model for repair due to leaking at bottom. I thought it was the seals but after advice from Roy it turned out to be the manifold having hair line crack and hence leaking under pressure from pump. He knew what he was talking about. Unfortunately Karcher parts are not cheap and nor are there machines. I was faced with £40 quid DIY repair or at least £200 replacement. I chose to purchase parts from Hisco in the hope I get a few more years of service from my Karcher and then upgrade when it fails or at least sell it in working condition. However the parts prices from Hisco was same or slightly cheaper than online prices. Since I lived locally it was a bonus and to have Roy giving advise in person is a big advantage. Even better if your not mechanically minded let Roy do your work he charges a flat rate £25.00 and nothing more and any other costs added would be parts. Since my machine was 5 years old I chanced it but if yours is newer and a replacement is in the hundreds then it might be worth it. For DIY people do not hesitate to contact Roy he is more than happy to supply parts only and the bonus being he will help you with advise on how to fit it. Well done! Almost forgot they do warranty repair for Karcher as well."
