"Had some dinner here yesterday with my partner. The food was absolutely beautiful and plenty of it, the home made lasagne, garlic bread and a side of home made chips was the best I've had in a long time! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub had such a lovely feel about it, Will definitely be back!"

"My wife and I booked a 2 night stay and the welcoming hospitality was there as soon as we walked through the door. Throughout our stay the all staff were very polite and helpful which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Food is lovely, both the breakfast and evening meals were excellent. The room was nice with good views and because we were on the top floor there was very little noise. All in all I would definitely stay here again. A great central base for walker's."
"Accomodation - The room was very clean and well stocked with water, tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was fantastic, with many choices. Bar - Real log fire in the bar, which was welcoming after a walk in the autumn weather! Great selection of drinks, especially gin, so I was happy!! Large menu with lots of choices"
