"The receptionists have always been rude and unhelpful, but there is one who I believe has recently started working there who is even worse, with no manners or expertise in how a receptionist should engage with patients. Oh, and when you ask for an appointment and none are available (as is customary), she enjoys slamming the phone down on you. I've never had anything like this before, I suffer with extreme anxiety, Because of the receptionist's attitude, it takes me weeks to pluck up the courage to call to make an urgently needed appointment, as it affects my mental health!"
"Honestly the worst GP. I’ve been trying to book an appointment for over 2 weeks now. Calling everyday at 8am getting hit with the same “busy” response. Then getting a call back hours later only to be told that there are no appointments. It’s ridiculous and infuriating. Not to mention the reception staff are rude just like some of the doctors. There’s a reason why it’s rated 2 stars, even that is too good. Avoid if you value your health"
"I used to sing this surgeries praises to everyone. However, since the merger they are awful. Taking away the online service was a huge mistake. It was not inly useful for making appointments but also to check test results and look at your medical records. As a teacher I can not sit around waiting for nearly an hour to get through on the phone. Also when you do get a telephone appointment they cannot give you an actual time for the call. Not easy to accommodate when you are working. Such a shame! Wanted to give no stars but you can't post the review unless you give at least one!"
"have a telephone consultation before the vaccine. I explained to her that I had a telephone consultation last week with her. She completely denied it said there were no notes on the system. I informed her what we discussed on the phone, she tells me she doesn't know who I spoke to. She then said she hasn't got time to do mine and my daughter's vaccine in 10 minutes. Then she decided to go back on herself and state she would see what she could do. I informed her i would rather come back on another day as I don't want her rushing a vaccine. The nurse clearly does not know how to use the system, does not keep record of telephone consultations and I am wondering if she will know what vaccinations she will be giving me. I have to say reboooking an appointment for an error that was made on her end is an inconvenience and the fact the nurse felt the need to lie that the telephone appointment even happened. I made sure to confirm at the desk if the nurse was the same one who did my telephone apppintment- found out I was in fact correct, she did call me but failed to mark the appointment as attended. Also to add I witnessed the same nurse be very rude to an elderly man who had just asked why his name hadn't been called and the nurse rudely said "you'll have to rebook the appointment" and walked away. The nurse is unprofessional, unorganised and takes her mood out on patients."
"Atrocious. Trying to book an appointment is like trying to win the lottery. GPs are apparently booked up to a week too, so you can't even book 2 weeks ahead, instead they want you to race against everyone else at 8am every week. The staff are rude and can't articulate themselves. (a lady incredibly asked me if the reason I was calling the GP was because I was ill, then slammed the phone on me when I asked why I couldn't book a GP further than a week in advance) During my last appointment (I should play the lottery), the GP suggested two hospital tests for my issue. It's 4 weeks later and I haven't received a letter, email or text about any tests. Also barely anybody seems to wear masks inside even though the signs tell everyone to wear them. Lastly, the website is a hot mess, just incoherent gibberish. One paragraph tells you to book online, another tells you that booking online is not an option, only phoning in is."
