"Taxi driver was difficult and argumentative"
"3 times book no taxi turned up 3 times they said the car had turned up and on 2 of the occasions we were sat at the window looking out. Told ‘livie we tracked him to the address’ we used to use these guy a lot to the point where many of the drivers know us by name but no more. Don’t appreciate being accused of lying."
"At 8:30 I rang T Line to book a taxi for 9:00 to see a movie that started at 9:30. At 9:05 I gave them a call to ask where they were. Instantly started talking very fast down the phone at me saying he's set off. Don't know why, at 9:05 he was just setting off when I had booked the taxi for 9 but I thanked him and assumed the taxi would show up any time and that would be that. At 9:15 my partner and I began to get frustrated as we were coming close to being late for the movie. So he decided to ring them to cancel and just ring another taxi service. No answer. He let the phone ring and ring and ring. No answer. At 9:20 the taxi showed up outside, claimed the "road was blocked". The rank is a 5 minute walk from my home and at this time on a Sunday night I doubt very much it would take so long to get around to my house (there are multiple roads he could have taken) and this also doesn't explain why the man I spoke to told me he was setting off at 9:05. Very disappointed as I have used T Line for years but I will no longer be. We refused to use the taxi as we would have now been late for the viewing and did not feel very happy about giving them money after waiting 20 minutes on a Sunday night for a taxi I booked half an hour before the time I asked for it to arrive. It seems many people feel the same about this. I hate to be one to complain but if you are thinking of using this service as a way to get to important things on time, don't! They are unreliable."
"Having used T-Line regularly a few times a week for more than a year, i have been left waiting for my taxi twice in the last two months for nearly an hour. All the time the operator was telling me '10minutes' i call back 10 mins later and he says '1-2 mins' i call back 10 minutes after that and no answer. I called again 4 times after that to no answer. This meant T-Line were ignoring my calls. Terrible customer service, no explanation of why the taxi was taking so long or an honest time frame given. Instead all I got was lies then got ignored. After waiting 50 minutes I rang Stanningley Cars who were great on the phone, remembering my name and dispatched a car out immediately which arrived in 8 minutes. The same time as my T-Line car arrived exactly 1 hour late, I had already given up after being lied to then ignored. The T-Line driver then tried to reassure my on how bad the traffic was where he came from (the same direction I was going). Why he would also lie, knowing full well I would be going through Kirkstall Bridge myself in 5 minutes time. Low and behold there was barely any traffic and my taxi took it's regular amount of time. This is the second time in 2 months something like this has happened and being such a frequent customer I feel like who do T-Line actually care about. Disgusting customer service from a business that is losing custom to UBER. Why would you put up with lies and bullshit, knowing you can just hail a taxi using that service in 2 minutes? I will never be using this company again, and judging by so many recent damning reviews it also seems like a lot of other people have had similar experiences lately. Best plan is to avoid these guys all together."
"I dropped my phone in the taxi and realised just as he pulled off by the time we got hold of him he refused to bring it back even though he would of only been a few streets away and said we'd have to pick it up from the office which is fine except i'm from Leicester and was catching a 7.50am coach home. We rang the main office and asked if we booked our morning taxi could that driver bring it along they said no as well so we just carried on with our booking as our Leeds friends offered to pick the phone up for us and send it back down to Leicester. 7.30am arrived which is when we'd booked the Taxi for and it never turned up and we ended up missing our coach home and had to fork out an extra £37.00 for new tickets. I will never ever be using this taxi firm again, it is the most horrendous experience I have had with a taxi place and I am genuinely shocked by the appalling customer service."
