"AVOID!!!! Really disappointed as I would have loved to leave a nice review because the hotel room was stunning but me and my large group received nothing but frustration during our stay. We booked online with one of their packages which included brunch, breakfast and a master class to which we paid additional. To get to the hotel and to find nothing had been arranged as advised on the phone and to even having breakfast as the company that did it cancelled?? They offered no alternative for breakfast to which we had to accommodate ourselves, the reception staff promised us a refund to which we still haven't received a month later. I have tried to call, text, email message on Instagram as they promised they would do some sort of reimbursement and they have not. For the money you may hear there are other large group hotels that would be way better value for money! Also if management could respond to my enquiries that would be great as we are still waiting for our refund for breakfast we didn't have. The bottomless brunch that was afternoon tea and two glasses of Prosecco!!!"
"Friendly staff and a great location. It is in the centre of the party district of Liverpool so great if you are going out in town but with the obvious caveat that's it's not suitable for light sleepers especially on a weekend but to be honest if you need absolute quiet then most of the centre of Liverpool is probably not for you. Overall a decent hotel, stayed twice for a couple days each time with no issues."
"Not the best sleep, room very hot. Could do with extra pillows. Other than that lovely hotel"
"Fab hotel. I was on crutches and it was my first time out for 3 months. The staff were really caring. They let us park right by the door. The Hotel is so central I could get around really easily. Thanks x"
"My "Living in Liverpool Hotels Journey" continues. This is clearly a party hotel, which is not too different from many other hotels in the area. Crawling distance from a very pub and bar dense part of Liverpool. A refurbished something else (factory?) that now sports long corridors facing the glassed in court yard on one side and rooms on the other. Excellent location and friendly staff, both worthy 5 stars. The rooms are 2 stars though, especially if you value sleep. They are all in themes (I stayed in a room called Notorious, featuring Ingrid Bergman and Clark Gable) and the noise level from a roof ventilation system (I hope it was that and not moaning spirits) makes deep sleep hard to find. The shower was what I would call a Stockholm shower (it has many names depending on where you were first exposed to it, but the gist is that the shower is on top of the toilet. So you better make sure everyone has used the toilet before anyone uses the shower :). Plenty of towels, and a life saving tea station outside. The mini bar was not in use. No breakfast on weekdays, and as per what seems to be normal in Liverpool, breakfast is not included in the room but comes as an extra, and is continental. No sustainability or environmental policy what I could see. Having said all this, you do feel that you arrive into a safe pair of hands when you arrive."
