Reviews
"Abysmal As in every workplace, there are 2 or 3 staff here trying their best. (Excellent mental health nurses, and one or two receptionists who are trying to keep heads above water) I don't like leaving poor reviews, we're all human. Unfortunately any good here is swallowed up by incompetent, uncaring administrative staff who either speak to you like you're stupid, or a huge inconvenience. The only GP I've seen more than once was more about concerned practising acupuncture than keeping accurate medical records. There is incredibly poor communication (if any) about referrals and on-going conditions. The latest merger with Modality was meant to improve things, apart from a new sign, not much has changed for patients. They need to admit they can't cope with the amount of patients and throw some of us out to other practices. I for one would be first in the queue to leave."
"All the appointments I've had, been told they had tried ringing me, even though they have never even seemed to bother to try. As still, for past 3 weeks no one rang me for third appointment in a row, and been said it's my third DNA (Did Not Attend) appointment, even though I haven't missed anything, as this service couldn't even bother ringing me for the appointment? Wish they could just transfer my care to my GP, rather than dealing with these."
"My father went for an appointment for a serious condition. He was given a referral to Walton over a month ago. They haven’t gotten back to him for the last 6 weeks. When he rang the doctors they said the hospital has yet to respond and he would need to chase them. When he called the the hospital they confirmed they responded on the 12th Sept and are waiting for the doctors to contact them. My father is coping with his own medical issues that are being ignored while caring for my mother who’s has cancer. You are an absolute disgrace, your service is absolutely disgusting and you should be investigated for a massive lack of care about f duty for your patients. I will be putting in a formal complaint about this surgery"
"Have been a patient here for over 40 yrs. A lot of changes during that time. I have always received excellent treatment. I use online services for repeat prescriptions & enquiries. I would like to be able to make appointments online too but whenever I have tried it is unavailable. Otherwise I am satisfied with the practice on the whole . Just remember it isn't the person in front of you or at the end of the phone who is responsible for your complaint. A little respect goes a long way"
"I've been waiting for medication for weeks; each time it's issued, I'm being issued my bridging prescription rather than the one I need. Constantly ringing them leads nowhere. Emails go around in circles. The doctors often ring me from an anonymous number in the evenings when I'm busy. I'm never notified of when I'm likely to get these "appointments". I'm fortunate that my mental health isn't suffering, ADHD medication aside, because I can really see how this behaviour from the clinic could make someone crack & need in-patient mental health care."
