"Amazing nursery!"
"We brought our son here because our previous nursery wouldn't go down to 2 days per week as we were struggling with money. This Nursery is absolutely fantastic and has a great set of staff. They are extremely fair and with their covid refund policy it was a breath of fresh air especially as I know other Nursery's just want to take, take, take and give nothing back especially as every other business has offered refunds of some sort. My son absolutely loves coming here and adores his key worker. He loves it so much he just walks in and doesn't give me a second thought which is good because its a testament to how good it is. I strongly recommend this nursery as they have great covid hygiene procedures and a welcoming setting."
"My daughter has attended Daisy Chain Rothwell since October 2017 at this point she was 10 months old. Being a first time mum, I naturally felt anxious about leaving my daughter for the first time, however, the staff in the Pixie room soon put me at ease. The care that they offer is excellent and I feel comfortable everyday leaving my daughter with them. It is such a lovely feeling to be able to go to work and know that she is so well cared for. My daughter has developed so well whilst being at nursery, she has grown in confidence and has developed an excellent understanding. I feel that this is due to the staff who have clearly made an effort to get to know her and are able to identify her needs. She has a lovely bond with her key worker and will smile and put her arms straight out to her when I drop off. The nursery is a lovely environment and always feels warm and homely. I would defiantly recommend Daisy Chain to other parents and can't speak highly enough of them."
"As it is my son’s last day at your nursery I thought it would be a good opportunity to recognise the staff within the Elves room. Fortunately Jess has been my son’s key worker throughout his time at Daisy Chain. My son has a fantastic bond with Jess and it is evident this has benefitted him greatly in his development. More recently he has formed a fantastic bond with both Debi and Lisa. Again, like Jess these are friendly, helpful and professional members of staff. I have always been grateful for feedback on my son’s time at nursery at the end of the day and find that the Elves team always deliver this in an extremely effective way. They are more than accommodating to my son’s requests and we feel comfortable leaving him given their professional and courteous manner. I would be grateful if you would recognise Jess, Debi and Lisa internally as I personally believe they are a credit to Daisy Chain."
"My 2 year old is on the autism spectrum so we were recommended Daisy Chain by other local parents and friends as a good choice. The Rothwell based nursery was great on our first show round although once in the office the manager was recommending the Lofthouse based nursery claiming it better met his needs. We arranged a show round at Lofthouse the same day and were put off by the sizes of the class rooms with 50+ children in and only 4 staff and also noticed a hot laminator and scissors had been left unattended near the entrance to the class. We also found the sensory room was very small and would isolate our son from the rest of the children. We therefore decided to go with the Rothwell nursery so called ahead and spoke to someone as the manager wasn't available and they said there were still places left. We then called back later to get hold of the manager who said there were places until we confirmed our sons details and they suddenly didn't have any places left. In other words they didn't want my autistic son to go to there nursery. I just wish they could have told us up front as now we can't find any others that have places. I wouldn't want him to go somewhere that didn't want him anyway. Funny thing is that my son is actually really good and is almost never naughty so takes very little looking after, probably less work than a child without autism. I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else."
