"Every time we go in to pick up our repeat prescription meds (and I mean everytime) there is some meds missing. We've taken to asking "Are you sure this is everything?" "Yes, absolutely!" comes the reply. Ring ring. "Where is the (name of medicine) this time?" "Give us a minute...oh it's here!". One time I went in with my daughter, watched her actually look through a bag of my wife's meds, half of it was missing, when she queried where it was, "It's definitely not here, you must have already had it!" Get home, ring, ring. "We haven't had the meds!" "Give us a minute...oh it's here!". Some might defend them pointing out how they are currently short staffed, there is a sign saying so and everything! True, but that sign has been up ever since they opened last summer!"
"Been suffering with man problems with obtaining my prescriptions for a long while now, had help from an amazing young man called Ben from attending many different pharmacies over the course of my life I am glad to see more young faces here and I’m glad to have come to weldricks."
"Hit and miss. Depends who’s serving. I have an iron deficiency and sometimes they’ll be lovely and let me purchase the iron tablets I need, other times they’ll be very funny about it and try and persuade me that I don’t need them yet I’ve been anemic since I was 15 & my nanna has passed it down to me & she’s had it since she was younger aswell and has faced the same problems with people being so ignorant about it."
"I find it difficult to write this review in the current climate and appreciate that the staff here are doing there best. However they are not the only ones working through this difficult period. I myself am still having to work and have attempted twice today to collect a prescription that was ordered online. The first attempt I waited in a que which is its self an issue, for 40 minutes before I had to give up my place to go back to work. I then rushed back later to arrive at 1645 thinking I had till 1800 before they closed, again joining a long que to be then told at 1700 they are closing and all there would have to return tomorrow. It also appears you are telling people to return later in the day once they have dropped there script off earlier only to have to follow the above process maybe without success. You have to find a better process, even if it means a member of staff coming out and making a list of who is there just to collect their medication. You would also think with the procedure you have in place the turn around of customers would be fairly quick however this is not the case at this branch and in some cases it was up to 10 minutes for a customer to leave after entering the store. I will run out of my medication tomorrow, so what am I supposed to do when I also have to go to work tomorrow morning. I do not have the flexibility to join an inappropriate que and wait hours to collect my regular medication."
"I have a long history of visiting this chemist as it is the closest one to me and my GP. However I have reached such a point of disapproval that I shall no longer use it. The minimum wait time, even when not busy is usually 15-20 minutes for one prescription item. And more often than not, after waiting 10 minutes you could be told that the medication is not in stock. I recently went in for a prescription of Quetiapine XL which wasn't in stock, but was told that it would be the following day. After 1 week of phoning everyday at lunchtime, I was told that the medication had finally been delivered to the chemist for collection. I wouldn't recommend this chemist if it was the closest by 10 miles."
