"So I purchased an iPhone charger cable last year around October/November and registered my warranty with Daewoo which gives me a 3 year warranty. My cable stopped working last night and so this morning I contacted Daewoo who advised me to go back to the place of purchase to get an exchange or refund as my warranty is valid. It tells anybody in black and white on the leaflet which came inside the box that you should take it back to the place of purchase for a refund/exchange. The man who I dealt with today was very reluctant to do either one of these for me. All I wanted was an exchange and even after showing him the paragraph on the leaflet where it states to return it back to the place of purchase, he completely dismissed this and insisted it was down to Daewoo to deal with it. My mother goes to this shop quite regularly and has never encountered such rudeness . When I said that I would be placing a complaint, his response "be my guest". Terrible customer service."
