Reviews
"Useful if you need various bits and bobs as there are no DIY shops near Barnes, but the chap who was serving is pretty offhand. Does he actually want customers in his shop? I don't think I'll bother going back, so I guess he has succeeded with me at least."
"The owner is very rude when I asked him if the price on a named brand was correct he said it was and when I stated that it’s normally a fifth of the price everywhere else he said “well go buy it there then” The item I wanted to buy is normally between 95p and £1.25 everywhere else but he is selling them at £4.90. This is price gouging at its worst."
"Been in here a few times, only because it's the only DIY/hardware store thats nearby. The man who owns/runs the shop can be quite unhelpful and surly - you get the impression that it's a major inconvenience for him to help. Shame, because he does sell a lot of useful stuff."
"This shop is utterly hopeless. In two occasions in the past month I’ve come down to buy something 15 minutes after the published opening time only to find its still closed. It’s such a waste of time not being able to rely on shops if they just randomly don’t open."
"If there is ever a time you're in desperate need of something, there is a very high chance he will have it! Very friendly and keen to help. Cooking items, DIY, cleaning, electrical items, seasonal items (BBQ, fans etc.) extremely handy to have on your door step!"
