"Beautiful cottage with a bus stop right outside and I cannot believe how big it is! There are two dishwashers, all of the glassware and crockery you could ever want and a huge dining table. I would love to stay here again."

"We spend a great week in River cottage. The house itself is beautiful, both inside and out, and well set up for a young family such as our. The garden is very pretty and big enough for the kids to play in. There is a trampoline too. The owner was extremely helpful and made us feel very at home. Would definitely come back."
"Nice house but road too nosiey. We came in October so was perfect as didnt sit outside. If you came in the summer I think it would be very disappointing due to the sound of the road being so loud. The road does also disturb sleep if you are on the wrong side of the house. The house is in a great location for walks and village pubs. Bakewell is only a 2 min drive away. Lovely village and bed very comfortable. House is great accommodation for a large group. Long tabel in is amazing. Water pressure was awful and temperature was cold."
"This is far and away the best facility I have ever stayed in. It's well located in the district, perfect for those who want to do a Pride and Prejudice tour. The rooms are BEAUTIFULLY and so thoughtfully put together. Literally anything you could have wanted is there. The owners are very very kind and helpful and cook and amazing breakfast. They are flexible and always happy to advise you on where you should go/eat etc. They were even willing to cater for me (gluten free) A truly enjoyable visit."
