"Stopped off for a quick meal on a Saturday evening. We were lucky as they managed to squeeze us in but would recommend booking ahead. Really nice choice of food and drinks, ample parking and excellent service."

Food was beautiful I chose the steak in ale pudding and was not disappointed. My only regret was not leaving room to try a dessert. We will definitely be visiting again."

Our group doubled unannounced which usually means slow and poor service and bad food anywhere else, however these guys stepped it up provided some of the best service I have experienced and turned out just awesome food. 5 stars is not enough"
"Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Excellent food, reasonably priced and large portions. The roast beef was delicious. Staff were all very friendly and there is a great homely feel to the pub. It was quite busy but we did not have to book and had no problem getting a table. Real ales were very good too."
