"It's a yhs so expect a youth hostel. The building is fun. Nice kitchen. Rooms clean. Location brilliant. And a bakery sets up on Saturday morning for fresh baked pastries. Cakes and coffee. Youlgrieve has nice walks and on a hot day you can have mini swim in the river."
"This place is awesome. Used to be a co-op. Large well appointed kitchen. Inviting living spaces. Clean private room with everything you expect. Great village. Very helpful and friendly staff who gave us some cracking advice about how to enjoy the peaks."
"This is a quaint hostel with a good size self catering kitchen. The only minor issue is the lack of parking, but I had no trouble finding a place to park on the main Street. Plus there is a car park nearby. There are 3 pubs in this small village and a convenience shop right near by including a post office, so you won't have trouble stocking up on food or treating yourself to a meal out"
"Stayed here with a group hiring the whole hostel. It's a charming historic building, a former Co-operative Society store and offices and the names of the rooms reflect this rather charmingly. The setting is lovely and the walking in the area is stunning. Note: the stairs are quite steep."
"Lovely little family friendly hostel in the heart of a picturesque village surrounded by fantastic landscapes. The rooms are spartan but very clean and the kitchen facilities are first class. The manger made us feel at home and was friendly and very helpful . Our kids loved it and we would definitely come again."
