My only complaint would be the extra levels of self cleaning required prior to leaving, but I understand why, given the pandemic. I would definitely come back."

"We stayed as a group of 19 including kids. In many ways it was ideal: spacious lounge area with pool table, lots of seating. Dining room was good for our numbers but would be a squeeze with many more than 20 eating. The kids enjoyed the gaming ‘snug’ room. The down side to Whitton Lodge is the poorly laid out kitchen space which makes meal preparation and clearing up much more challenging than necessary. There are two kitchens in separate but adjacent rooms which would be so much more usable if knocked together and redesigned as there is plenty of space. The only other negative is some of the rooms were very cold over night: even with the radiators on max they didn’t kick out much heat. But all in all I’d recommend this for large groups as many boxes are ticked. The hot tub was enjoyed and the location was ideal for our geographically spread group. We will be back!"
