"Worked there for about 6 months on £3 an hour, owner kept half of the tips for themselves. customers constantly complaining about the food, most of it is microwaved or reheated days later. salad bar is reused for days after, nothing is fresh. food is stored in damp, filthy & rotten sheds. and to top it off Paul and Monica are horrible horrible people, i actually left because they constantly made racist comments. no wonder they’re selling."

"I read the menu on line which said steak Night Wednesday. My wife and I went along to the Duke William looking forward to a juicy steak. When we arrived the outside menu read Steak Night. The menu on the table offered steak. The young waitress who served us was very pleasant and said we don't do steak Night anymore and it is not available. So we thought well we would make the most of what they have to offer. The waitress suggested Steak Pie so I ordered the Pie. My wife ordered Fish. The meals were far from satisfactory. The Fish was chewy and the Steak Pie was dry as it was overcooked. The salad bar was practically empty and the time was 6pm. Flies were buzzing around the salad and to say it was unappetising is an understatement. We do not plan to dine there again any time soon."

"The landlord removed the handles from the toilets on the busiest event in the annual calender, i cannot understand the mentality of a person that does this when they stand to earn so much from the event. Its not like the toilets are very nice in the first instance!"
