"Very cosy accommodation, just what we needed working at NEC which is 5 mins away, 10 minute drive to local restaurants, 30 mins to Warwick castle"
"I have fond memories of this place. A perfect location for the NEC, and 20 mins from central Birmingham. Good luck to the new owners."
"We had booked in as we had attended Crufts. The location was close by, and local to the NEC and the airport, albeit it was situated under the flight path. The accommodation is actually just an insulated shed/summer house which has been converted into a bedroom with a very small en suite attached. Although clean, it was cramped with not even a chair to either sit on, or put a bag on. There was no wardrobe, or hangers and I had to leave my clothes in the corner of the room, on the floor. The bathroom plumbing left a lot to be desired. On first glance, it looked ok, until you saw the old tea towel wrapped around the radiator to stop it dripping, and the bottom of the shower cubicle was coming away. Once in the shower, the water did not drain away, and the tray began to fill up. There was no chance of having a leisurely shower, as to do who would have flooded the small bathroom. The toilet plumbing seemed to be attached to the shower plumbing, so when the toilet flushed, the water came up through the shower drain away. This cost £145 for the night, without even a breakfast and was very underwhelming. The owners/hosts were a nice couple but I thought this was very expensive for what you got for your money."
"I stayed with the Mrs last month as we were in the area for an event at the NEC. The guesthouse is a bit tricky to find as the signage isn't the clearest, but once we knew we was in the right place we had a warm welcome. The accommodation is small but perfectly formed, and it's got a charming character. The bathroom was a little rough around the edges, but nothing major. Yes, the guesthouse is near the airport, but I wouldn't sound the noise pollution was intrusive. The cooked breakfast was lovely, the property itself is well decorated, and it was well priced, so overall it was a happy stay!"
