"This place is a real gem. Loads of space in the family room we had. The food (dinner and breakfast) was great. Really sensibly priced. Best of all though was the staff who were all so friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again. The room had everything we needed, was clean and spacious."
"I ate a Sunday lunch here today, with my mum and a friend. What a fabulous meal we had. I'm gluten free, on hearing that they had gluten free Yorkshire puddings, I asked for one, even though I was having lamb. It was a very delicious, tasty meal, friendly, helpful Staff. I followed with a delicious gluten free dessert. I plan to return in the near future"
"The decor (and the menu) are from the 1990's, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The staff are friendly, competent and efficient. The service was quick but not rushed. The portions are generous, the food tasty, and excellent value. It's not going to win any style awards (maybe in the retro category?) but it's decent grub at a decent price and seems to be very popular."
"Stayed here for one night Hotel room was clean and really spacious. Comfy beds and a lovely shower Receptionist was lovely provided us with extra towels for our stay. Breakfast was included in the stay food was good a standard full English. However glasses could do with a proper clean the waitress gave us one which had a pink lipstick stain on it. We asked for a new glass then she brought out another but it also had a pink lipstick mark on it she said that she had gotten us a new one clearly not. Third time lucky it was spot less. Would stay again."
