"Poor organisation. Nurses appeared and would call for a patient whose name had already been called and was being dealt with (duplication), anyone with other than brilliant hearing couldn't hear their name being called (due to nurses wearing masks, accents), people were hanging round for hours waiting for results or medication. With better organisation waiting times could be reduced substantially."
"My husband has cancer and was told by c4 to call an ambulance where he would be seen straight away and wouldn't have to wait in the emergency department. LIE! !!! After waiting 9 hours for an ambulance and me explaining his circumstances he was taken to a and e. He waited an hour for his blood pressure to be taken. The waiting area was packed. Some people had been waiting 10 hours. Absolutely shameful! !!!"
"Once again fabulous. Midweek referral from clinic. Seen, tested, consulted and discharged in under two hours by a delightful team. Very grateful."
"I recently attended ed/ paediatric ed with my 12 year old son. The whole experience for my son and myself as a worried mom I can only say from start to finish was exceptional. All the staff receptionist, nurses, drs, radiographers were friendly, calm and helpful. The ed area was clean and tidy, and well organized. The follow up from virtual fracture clinic was also excellent. From experience I know how busy the healthcare system is and the pressures staff are under. Please pass these comments to staff please. Well done and thank you."
"Went via ambulance service at 7.30pm and the next morning at 6am, I self discharged as no medical professional actually came to see me. I had my bloods taken - no results given. I had my blood pressure taken about 6 times - ridiculous."
