"Extremely good welcome by Julie (Deputy Manager). She asked if we had a preference of which floor we would like a room. Our room was very clean and spacious. Fantastic walk in shower. If I am being picky, there is an issue that we find in any hotel we stay in, the remote control for the tv was dirty and clearly not been cleaned for a while. I cleaned it myself with some Antibacterial lotion. As we are going before breakfast is served, we are able to select a grab a bag. Overall, we would definitely use this hotel again for the airport. It is a 5 minute car/taxi ride from T2."

"Not exactly on Manchester airport site, it's on the first junction as you leave the airport... But it was clean, staff were helpful, nice big room, had a small bar area where you could eat is you didn't want to go into the lovely restaurant area. I booked here because my flight was cancelled. They will book you a taxi for the next morning, it's approximately £13 back to the airport. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because they all hike the price up because of the airport. I paid £120 single occupancy Despite this, they were one of the cheaper options, so would use again if needed."

"Bed mattresses need to be replaced. Male reception worker needs to be a bit more cheerful. The rooms are a decent size and clean and the staff were friendly. They have a large eatery (dinner & breaky) and provide a buffet breakfast. I was impressed that they provided a grab and go breakfast servery (croissants, muffins, fruit, tea and coffee from 4.00am for early flights."

"General Manager Angie Kelly is lovely,but has an uphill struggle. The 'bar' area is tiny..not fit for purpose. The bar is poorly stocked. There is a staff shortage. The bar tables were filthy, covered in spillage, left over food etc. The breakfast buffet food is enjoyable but the experience was horrendous. It was like a free for all. People walking in and out, up and down. You have to make it 1 way, and arrange food in order...starters at the entrance...not in the middle. No teapots were available. Butter nowhere near the toasters...it was a shambolic chaotic time. It needs a lot of money spent, an extension and better trained staff who look like they WANT to work, who are happy and smiling and welcoming!"

"This review is for staff mainly. The reception front desk is very nice and affirmative. Very nice accommodations. Quite kind and not super bland. Kyle is one to mention for sure. very nice guy we came all the way from Canada and back and still can’t forget him he taped our ripped £5 back together :’)"
