"I booked the Maldron for my cousins 50th birthday and was impressed from start to finish. I checked in on line the day before, so everything was ready for us when we arrived. The reception staff were lovely, very friendly and courteous and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was ready when we arrived and were very pleased with our allocated room and although we could see train line from our window we never heard any trains. My sister in law wanted some extra coffee and a couple of extra hangers and we had only just put the phone down to reception and someone was knocking on our door with requested items.. First class customer service. We had booked breakfast for our stay and we were both very impressed with the quality and selection available. The staff in the restaurant were also very pleasant and helpful and took the time check everything was as we liked. I would recommend the breakfast to anyone. We chose the hotel for its location to the train station and restaurants and bars we were frequenting over the weekend. Had a fabulous time and was very impressed with the hotel and its staff."

"This an excellent hotel in Manchester, the team are very friendly and with extremely high levels of customer service. We ate room service with our small children in the room on the evening, it was delivered very promptly and was delicious. Rooms were spotless and super comfortable, beds are amazing. Breakfast the next morning had a fantastic selection and was of an excellent standard. We left our luggage to head off for an event the next day and the lovely reception team took our bags and even remembered which ones were ours on our return to collect them. Parking is just minutes away from the hotel and very easy to use and park. My go to hotel in Manchester and have recommended it several times to friends and family"

"The hotel was okay and in a good location, it was easy to get to most places all within walking distance. The hotel staff were okay for the most part, I found it bizarre that the hotel requires a person to pay 10pounds to extend checkout by an hour, most hotels do this for free. The complimentary toiletries could have been better, for instance there was no lotion."

"This is a great hotel. Located centrally and close to the Manchester university. The rooms are very practical and comfortable. There is everything, coffee machine, hairdryer, even slippers and a bathrobe. You get daily refill of still and sparkling water, cookies and coffee - included in the room rate. The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is very helpful and nice. There are vegan options for breakfast and the restaurant serves reasonably priced plant based dinner. I had the soup and the Buddha bowl, which were delicious. I have never been happier with a hotel stay this much. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Stayed here for one night. Hotel is well located, especially if you are travelling by train, being close to Oxford Road station. Staff were all very courteous and helpful. Being a new hotel the rooms were both in top condition. Beds very comfortable and showers good. Had dinner in the restaurant. Service and food were both good. Not fine dining but more than acceptable and also reasonably priced for a hotel.£129 for 4 starters, 4 mains, 2 deserts including drinks. Would definitely stay again."
