"This Sam Smiths pub is like walking back in time on so many levels. The decor is lovely. Their policy is cash only, no mobile phones, and no music, which allows for much more relaxing conversations if that's what you want. The beers and lagers are spot on and not expensive like many hostelries these days. The staff are very welcoming and the beer garden looks out on to open fields. Dogs allowed outdoors only. No food."

"This lovely village pub is such a nice place to visit, there is always a friendly welcome not only from the people behind the bar, but also a warm welcoming fire in most of the rooms. In Summer months there is a nice beer garden at the rear and a good size car park within the pub grounds. I just hope this pub will still be there after lock-down."
